Welcome to Fortune Snap. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and related services.

1. How Your Reading Is Created (AI)

To craft your personalized reading, Fortune Snap securely sends your captured photo, your name, and your birth date to a third-party generative AI service — Google's Gemini API — which interprets them in real time to generate your reading. This processing is performed solely to create your reading in the moment. Your photo is never stored on our servers, and in accordance with Google's API terms this data is not used to train Google's models. Fortune Snap is an AI-powered experience intended strictly for entertainment.

2. Information We Collect

To provide the experience, we may collect: the name and birth date you enter (used to personalize your readings and zodiac alignment), the photos you capture (used only in the moment to generate a reading — see Section 3), your generated reading history, your virtual token balance and purchase records, usage data about how you use the app (see Section 5), and crash diagnostics. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Zero Server-Side Image Storage

Your captured photos are protected by our Zero Server-Side Storage Policy. A photo is transmitted for real-time interpretation (Section 1) and is never saved, logged, or databased on our servers. A copy may remain in the app's private storage on your own device so your reading can display it; this copy stays on your device and is removed when you delete the reading or uninstall the app.

4. Third-Party Services

Fortune Snap relies on trusted third-party providers to function, each of which processes data under its own privacy policy:

• Google — Gemini AI (reading generation) and Firebase (secure sign-in, database, and server functions).
• Sentry — anonymous crash and error diagnostics to keep the app stable.
• RevenueCat & Google Play — to securely process in-app purchases. We never see or store your payment card details.

5. Usage Data & Analytics

To understand how the app is actually used and to decide what to improve, we record basic usage events on our own servers. An event records: what happened (for example a reading was created, a reading was shared, or the app was opened), which reading mode was used, whether you are on iOS or Android, when it happened, and your account identifier, so we can measure how many people come back over time.

These events never contain your photos, the text of your readings, your name, or your email address.

This is first-party analytics only. The data stays on our own infrastructure. We do not use it for advertising, we do not combine it with data from other companies, we do not track you across other apps or websites, and we never sell or share it with data brokers or advertising networks.

Usage events are kept for up to 14 months and are then deleted. Deleting your account removes them immediately — see Section 9.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect the information you submit. Token balances are managed strictly on our secure servers, and readings can only be viewed using the exact, unmodified share link provided to the original user.

7. Shared Reading Links & Data Retention

Shared Reading Links: When you choose to share a fortune reading, a private, unique link is generated that allows others to view that specific reading on our website. This link is protected by a secret key — it cannot be guessed or accessed without the exact link you share.

Automatic Deletion: All shared fortune readings are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers 30 days after creation. After this period, the shared link no longer works and the reading data cannot be recovered.

8. Age Requirement

Fortune Snap is rated for mature audiences and is intended for users aged 17 and older. It is not directed to minors, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your region). If you believe a minor has provided us with data, please contact us and we will promptly remove it.

9. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app's Settings menu, or by visiting our Account Deletion page. This removes your profile, authentication links, reading history, token balance, and usage records from our systems.
